A Point in Time is a portrait of Taikoo Li, Chengdu. China is one of the biggest and most populated countries in the world, and Chengdu is not the exception. A Point in Time revolves around the question of how to preserve human condition in a context where we lose ourselves constantly. In the very core of noise, rush and concrete, two different spaces, only a few meters apart from one another, offer an oasis of peace, quiet and introspection to the citizens and visitors of Chengdu. Daci Temple and Fangsuo Bookstore are places that contribute to preserve the city’s balance and traditional link to the slow lifestyle that characterize the citizens of Chengdu.
